The Public Works Department consists of five divisions: Engineering, Road, Planning, Building and Recycling.  The Public Works Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of approximately 447 miles of county roadways and 34 bridges.  Department staff also coordinates the planning, engineering, design and construction of transportation/infrastructure projects.
